Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13th, 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread recognition in the beginning of the 20th century. Swift was a fan of music at an early age and she progressed quickly through roles in the children's theater to her first appearance before an audience of tens of thousands. When she was 11 years old, she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and next year, she took up guitar and began to write songs. Taking her inspiration from musicians from the country genre like Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks (now the Chicks) Swift crafted original material that reflected her experiences of growing up in a world that was dominated by tweens. Swift was 13 when her parents decided to sell their Pennsylvania farm to relocate to Hendersonville Tennessee. She could dedicate all her efforts to contacting country labels located in Nashville.
