Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Anna Gunn is a US actress. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. The actress fell in love with acting at Preparatory school after which she moved to Ohio together with her family during the early 1970s. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna began her career in Chicago performing in stage parts for a number of years. Then she moved to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in movies and television shows. Anna had her biggest break in 1992 when she appeared as Arden for 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a Star in several TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she was a part of. Gunn was also on stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of podcast of audio plays called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and final break-up echoes the end of Walter White's life.
